Architecture firm plans to 3D print a moon base

Any moon base plan is a good plan in my books (unless it’s that silly Domino’s Pizza (Moon) Base plan).

This is really fucking awesome.

A Space Shuttle on the Streets of Los Angeles

There’s something just… wrong about this. The Space Shuttle shouldn’t be on city streets, it should be prepping for another mission.

I’m glad that this is actually a plan, but I really am not sure that it will be all that successful. We can hardly get along with simple things like tax policy, etc, so I really doubt we can cooperate over a plan to send humans to other planets. If nothing else, people are going to try to fight it over ethical issues like “should we really invade another world? We can’t even use our own well…” And that will kill the initiative. But I’m glad people are trying. Also, this is a cool-ish pic.
